ICI Bucharest was present at MedFEST 2024, an event dedicated to medical engineering, held between November 14-15, 2024, at the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest.
At its stand, ICI Bucharest, through the Digital Health Competence Center (CCSD-ICI), presented a series of reference projects in the field:
* RO-SmartAgeing: A non-invasive monitoring system for the health of older people using smart technologies.
* EmoMonitor: An integrated solution based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) for emotion monitoring and management.
* NeuroPredict: Advanced Artificial Intelligence techniques used in research and medical applications to support diagnosis and prediction in health.
* vINCI: A clinically validated healthcare and lifestyle improvement system for older people, including support technologies for human connection.
These projects reflect the mission of ICI Bucharest to integrate emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and IoT solutions, in the field of digital health, thus contributing to the transformation of the way medical services are provided.
At MedFEST 2024, participants had the opportunity to discover innovative solutions, interact with experts and better understand the role of technology in healthcare. The event included exhibitions of advanced medical equipment and technologies, thematic conferences and workshops, and activities dedicated to pupils and students interested in medical engineering careers.
