ICI Bucharest had the honour of participating on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the fourth edition of the "Future Energy Europe Summit" conference, a significant event for the energy industry. Club Antreprenor and Ziarul Pozitiv organised the meeting at the Palace of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Under the theme "Innovative Solutions for the Future of Energy in Europe", the event brought together industry experts and leaders of the leading energy companies. The conference aimed to provide answers to the current challenges of the energy sector and identify solutions for the modernisation and sustainable development of the energy infrastructure.
Among the topics on the conference agenda were the future of energy price caps and the impact of compensation after April 1, 2025, the capacity of the energy sector to manage a massive wave of investments and the human resources available for complex projects, the technologies and equipment needed to build new energy production and transport capacities, the prospects for using natural gas as a transitional resource and the evolution of hydrogen production, significant projects such as the exploitation of Black Sea gas and the construction of Units 3 and 4 at Cernavoda.
The event encouraged an open and constructive dialogue between stakeholders, offering concrete solutions for current and future challenges in the energy sector. ICI Bucharest develops technological solutions for various industries, including the energy sector. The institute contributes to digitalisation and the transition to a sustainable future through research, innovation and strategic collaborations.
