ICI Bucharest was the host of the International Conference for Virtual Education - ICVL 2024

ICI Bucharest was the host of the 19th edition of the International Conference for Virtual Education (ICVL), an international scientific conference indexed by Clarivate and SCOPUS, which took place on Friday, November 15, 2024. The conference brought together researchers, professionals and specialists from countries such as Bulgaria, Canada, India, Iraq, Morocco, the Republic of Moldova, Turkey and Romania, who discussed the latest advances in virtual education.

This year's edition was marked by an emphasis on innovations in smart and inclusive education, proposing solutions to improve teaching and training activities through modern eLearning approaches. Participants had the opportunity to debate and explore disruptive learning technologies, state-of-the-art educational software and innovative practices that support teachers in adopting new digital technologies.

In addition to the main sessions, the conference included a special section proposed by the University of Toronto Mississauga, Canada, dedicated to the theme "Generative AI in Computer Science Education: Adapting to the Inevitable". Discussions focused on the impact of generative artificial intelligence in education and how it can be integrated to support more effective training.

Also on Friday, November 15, 2024, ICI Bucharest also hosted the 22nd edition of the National Virtual Education Conference - CNIV 2024, dedicated to debates with pre-university teaching staff regarding the new technologies that can be used in virtual education, with the aim of increasing efficiency education and for the implementation of modern ideas that promote scientific experiments, creative thinking and intuition, argumentation and demonstration.
