ICI Bucharest was represented at the eighth edition of the Bucharest Security Conference through the presence of its General Manager, Adrian-Victor Vevera, who was invited as a speaker at this event organized by The National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) between 29-30 November 2024.
During the debates, Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Manager of ICI Bucharest, addressed the essential role of technological innovation in strengthening national and international security, underlining the importance of robust digital infrastructures and solutions based on research and development. "In the era of accelerated digitalization, international collaboration and investments in technology are extremely important to respond to cybersecurity challenges and to ensure a secure future for both citizens and institutions," he stated.
The conference focused on resilience and stability in an increasingly complex global environment and brought together political leaders, security experts, NATO and EU officials, as well as academics and civil society representatives. Topics covered at the conference included the transformations of the international security environment and their impact on Central and Eastern Europe, defence innovation and technological resilience, and regional cooperation strategies to address emerging threats.
