ICI Bucharest's participation in the "License for a Better World" Gala

ICI Bucharest participated on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in the "License for a Better World" Gala, an event organized at the Royal Palace. The gala, part of the "Together We Protect Romania" national project, marked the 23rd edition of the initiative, launched in 2020.

The event was organized by the MediaUno Press Group, the Department for Sustainable Development, the National Institute of Statistics and the MediaUno Association, representing the culmination of the "Bucharest Leaders Summit: License for a Better World" conferences, held from April 3 to May 14, 2024. These conferences have created an ideal framework for dialogue and collaboration to promote equity, prosperity and sustainability.

During the gala, Mr. Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, handed the award for outstanding results in collaboration with international media institutions to Mrs. Claudia Nicolae, the general director of Agerpres, thus emphasizing the importance of partnerships: "In collaboration with Agerpres, we initiated an ambitious project to explore how blockchain technology and NFTs can become essential tools for news distribution in the digital age. We have already launched a digital museum where NFTs can be viewed, including the "Memories from Future Self" collection (the collection of images from Agerpres' award-winning archive of rare moments immortalized in history) and the first NFT with a news item. In this digital format, we aim to address digital natives, and Agerpres is our strategic partner in this project. Recognizing outstanding leaders and initiatives inspires and motivates us to continue our work, supporting technological and social progress."

The event was an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the dedicated leaders and active dialogue contributing to building a more equitable, prosperous and sustainable world. Diplomas were awarded in key areas such as National Security, Research, Culture, Health, Economy and Social.
