ICI Bucharest participated in the sixth edition of the Romanian Economic Forum (FER), an event organized on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The forum, held under the central themes of "stability", "sustainability", and "security", provided the framework for debates essential regarding the economic and strategic future of Romania in a European and global context.
The representative of ICI Bucharest brought up the role of digitization and technological research in strengthening Romania's ability to face global challenges. The institute's participation in this forum is part of the national efforts to build a sustainable and innovative economy, which will capitalize on the country's geostrategic position and contribute to a competitive integration in global networks.
The Romanian Economic Forum, launched in 2018 as a pioneering initiative in the Romanian events market, brought together representatives of the government, the business environment, civil society, and the academic environment, offering a platform for open dialogue and multi-sector cooperation. During the "Financing and Taxation" session, ICI Bucharest brought to the fore the importance of investments in digitization, necessary to ensure sustainable economic development. At the same time, the directions by which digitization and digital transformation can contribute to economic stability and the resilience of public and private institutions were pointed out.
