The General Director of ICI Bucharest participated in the Automotive R&D Power Breakfast

Adrian-Victor Vevera, the General Director of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, participated in the fifth edition of the Automotive R&D Power Breakfast conference, organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest & Automotive Today.

Adrian-Victor Vevera emphasized the need for collaboration between researchers, authorities and companies to develop sustainable and innovative solutions in the automotive industry: "Modern cars are increasingly integrated with software and advanced digital components, and we, at ICI Bucharest, are actively involved in developing and securing these technologies. Autonomous and electric vehicles equipped with multiple Internet connections are vulnerable to remote cyber attacks. We focus on identifying and preventing these threats in the context of an expanded spectrum of possible attacks in the automotive sector. In this sense, we develop in-house applications and want to be reliable industry partners. Our presence at this event underlines our availability and openness to collaboration."

The conference brought together professionals and researchers to explore recent innovations and form strategic partnerships in the automotive industry. The event included presentations and panel discussions on key topics such as R&D funding, software-defined vehicles, EV charging infrastructure and cyber security challenges. The Automotive R&D Power Breakfast provided a platform for the exchange of knowledge and the formation of strategic partnerships, essential for the sustainable development of the automotive industry.
