Workshop "Changing with the climate" organized by ICI within the Comenius network "Changing with climate"

Topics having a large share in Education for Sustainable Development were addressed in this session, namely:

  • education for energy efficiency;
  • reduction of environmental pollution;
  • conservation of fossil fuel resources and prevention of climate change.

Experts from ICI and energy agencies, as well as teachers and students from schools in the “Changing with Climate” network, attended and presented.The agenda of the event and the presentations made are available at

ICI Bucharest Presented the Opportunities Offered by AI Factories at AI4IMPACT Week 2026

Access to high-performance computing resources and technical expertise are among the challenges faced by organisations developing or using artificial intelligence solutions. Through its participation in the European BSC AI Factory project, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest helps facilitate access to supercomputing infrastructure and specialised services for startups, SMEs and research organisations.

ICI Bucharest and AAI Organised a Training Course on AI Governance and Cybersecurity

ICI Bucharest and the Independent Directors Association (AAI) organised the training course “Governance Leadership: AI & Cybersecurity for Board Members” on 16–17 October 2026. The course was designed for board members and executives and focused on how artificial intelligence and cybersecurity shape strategic decision-making, risk management, and technology investments.
