Workshop National Program Library in the perspective of the i2020 Digital

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest hosted a workshop entitled "National Library of Programs and eServices in the Perspective of the i2020 Digital Agenda" on November 10, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the headquarters in B-dul. Marshal Averescu no. 8-10, sector 1, Bucharest, 2nd floor, Mihai Drăgănescu hall.

The conversations were open to software developers and users, as well as IT experts and representatives from the Ministry of Communications and Information Society.

The following are the workshop's conclusions:

• strategic promotion:
  • a free one for a longer period for enrolling in BNP;
  • monthly publication in specialized magazines of articles on new products registered in the NBP;
  • publication of a short description of BNP in English.
• promotion in the university environment, as well as in the province;
• promoting the web address of the BNP website;
• initiating a workgroup with regular meetings on concrete elements for improving BNP services;
• supporting a legislative initiative to oblige software companies that have contracts with the state to register their programs in the BNP database.
