HRS4R
On August 22, 2024, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest submitted to the European Commission the letter of commitment regarding adherence to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/hrexcellenceaward/european-charter-researchers).
The letter was accepted on August 30, 2024, and application 2024RO267643 was opened.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest has launched the initial phase for obtaining the HR Excellence in Research Award and submitted the related documents for this phase in August 2025.
On September 29, 2025, the EURAXESS Rights team communicated that they have performed the administrative eligibility check of the self-assessment documents (Gap-Analysis, OTM-R and Action Plan) and confirmed the compliance with the rules detailed in the HRS4R guidelines.
On 26 October 2026, our Institute was granted the “HR Excellence in Research” award by the European Commission.
