ICI Bucharest hosted the training “AI Act in Practice: From Legislative Requirements to Implementation”

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest hosted today, 15 September 2026, the interactive training session “AI Act in Practice: From Legislative Requirements to Implementation”, organised as part of the BSC AI Factory Incubation Programme – Call 2.

The training was delivered by Matei Ștefan, founder of SenecAI Consulting, and the discussions focused on the impact of the AI Act, the requirements that need to be considered during product development, and how the new obligations can be integrated into internal processes without slowing down innovation.

The event was part of the practical component of the BSC AI Factory incubation programme, which includes hands-on sessions, meetings with specialists, and other activities designed to support startup development. Through the incubation programme, BSC AI Factory aims to offer startups more than just a workspace. The model focuses on interaction with other ecosystem actors, including startups, innovation teams, investors, and specialists, as well as access to activities and resources that can support company growth.

ICI Bucharest is a partner in the BSC AI Factory consortium, alongside organisations from Spain, Portugal, and Türkiye.
