ICI Bucharest hosted on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, an official visit from a delegation of companies from Israel, an event that aimed to strengthen collaborative relations between the Israeli business environment and Romania's research and development sector.
The event took place at the headquarters of ICI Bucharest and brought together representatives of Israeli companies, ICT specialists and researchers from the institute. The discussions focused on cooperation opportunities in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies and solutions for digital transformation.
At the event's opening, Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, stressed the importance of exchanging expertise and partnerships for developing innovative projects with national and international impact.
"This visit represents a significant step towards closer collaboration between Romania and Israel in technology. We are convinced that a partnership between Israeli companies and the institute's researchers will generate solutions and contribute to increasing competitiveness in the ICT sector," said Adrian-Victor Vevera.
Representatives of the Israeli delegation highlighted the openness to new partnerships and presented successful projects implemented at the international level. Also, the possibility of cooperation in attracting investments and developing joint research initiatives was discussed.
