ICI Bucharest received NATO approval regarding the Cyber Polygon project: A Cyber Range Platform Specialized on Energy Sector with Automatic Generation of Virtual Scenarios

On the sidelines of the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest, held between April 16-18, 2024, representatives of the NATO Partnerships and Cooperative Security Committee present at the event announced that within the Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Program, the project submitted by ICI Bucharest "Cyber Polygon: A cyber range platform specialized in the energy sector with automatic generation of virtual scenarios".

This initiative represents a collaboration between Romania and Azerbaijan to ensure cyber security in the energy sector. As leaders of this project, ICI Bucharest and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of Azerbaijan are happy to announce their participation in developing an advanced platform for testing and strengthening the security of IT systems in the energy sector.

Implementing the "Cyber Polygon" project will provide significant opportunities for advancing cyber protection capabilities within the energy infrastructure, which will positively impact national and international security.

Through this initiative, ICI Bucharest reconfirms its firm commitment to promoting research and development in cyber security. It will continue to collaborate actively with international partners to strengthen the resilience of critical IT systems.
