ICI Bucharest received the visit of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Romania

Today, January 18, 2024, Mr. Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest, had a meeting with Her Excellency Mrs. Therese Hyden, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Romania.

During the discussions, topics of common interest were addressed, focusing on strengthening the collaboration and cooperation between Romania and Sweden.

Mr. Adrian-Victor Vevera presented the research and development initiatives carried out by ICI Bucharest, highlighting the potential for expanding collaboration in various fields. A particular point of interest was the NFT (non-fungible tokens) technology, to which the Institute has made significant contributions.

At the same time, emphasis was placed on the importance of close relations between academia, the diplomatic community and industry partners. Both Mr. General Director and Her Excellency Mrs. Therese Hyden highlighted the determination to strengthen these links, considering the added value added. The common goal is the development of innovative solutions and the promotion of technological transfer between the two states.

This meeting represents a significant step towards strengthening Romania's partnership with Sweden in research and innovation, opening new horizons for joint projects and beneficial exchanges for both countries.
