Today, July 4, 2024, Dr. Eng. Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest, met with E.S. Maj. Gen. Eng. Mohammad Bouarki, Head of the Kuwait National Center for Cybersecurity, who was accompanied by H.E. Mr. Talal Mansour Alhajeri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait in Romania.
Mr. Adrian-Victor Vevera presented the research and development initiatives carried out by ICI Bucharest, highlighting the potential for expanding collaboration in various information technology and telecommunications areas. As the I.T. cooperation HUB for the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa states, the institute remains dedicated to strengthening partnerships and contributing significantly to scientific and technological progress nationally and internationally.
The meeting represented an excellent opportunity for strengthening bilateral relations between Romania and Kuwait, highlighting the commitment of both parties to promoting collaboration in areas of common interest, such as scientific research, cyber security and cyber diplomacy. Both sides expressed confidence that this meeting will open new horizons for fruitful collaboration in the future.
