The visit of Mr. Nicolae Ciucă, President of the Romanian Senate, to ICI Bucharest

Today, April 9, 2024, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest received the visit of Mr. Nicolae Ciucă, President of the Romanian Senate.

"It is clear that Romania's digital future depends on the safety of new technologies. Now cyber-attacks or misinformation spread on the internet are a part of the hybrid warfare we are already witnessing. Romania is on the front line of this new type of war, hosting the European Cyber Competence Center, and ICI is an important element of the country's IT defence." claimed Mr. Nicolae Ciucă, President of the Romanian Senate.

In the context of the visit, the general director of ICI Bucharest thanked Mr. Nicolae Ciucă, extending the invitation to the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest, which will take place between April 16-18, 2024. At the same time, Mr. Adrian-Victor Vevera presented both the research projects in development, high-quality IT products, as well as future development directions.

"At ICI Bucharest, we are committed to actively contributing to the creation of a safe digital environment for future generations. Through constant efforts, we try to always keep pace with technological developments and make significant contributions in the field of ICT. We are determined to continue to be a source of expertise, building a prosperous information society" said the general director of ICI Bucharest.
