The visit of the ambassador of the State of Israel to Romania at ICI Bucharest

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest had the honour of receiving the official visit of His Excellency Dr. Lior Ben Dor, the ambassador of the State of Israel in Romania.

During the visit, His Excellency discussed with the representatives of ICI Bucharest the projects and initiatives carried out by the institute and Romania's priorities in the field of digital transformation. Also, during the meeting, the opportunities for Romanian-Israeli collaboration in the research sector were highlighted, with an emphasis on cyber security, artificial intelligence and the development of innovative technologies.

"We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Israel in a time of accelerated technological advancement. Israel is a leader in technology and innovation, and collaborations and joint projects will contribute to technological progress and the development of the digital economy in both countries," said Dr. Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest.

The visit ended with a discussion session on future bilateral projects and initiatives, including participation in the second edition of the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest, which will take place between April 7-11, 2025.
