ICI Bucharest participated in the round table "Public Policies for Space Romania"

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participated on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in the round table on the theme "Public Policies for Space Romania", organised by the AGORA Center for Democracy and the Romanian Space Initiative, with the support of the Industry and Services Committee of the Chamber of Deputies.

The event brought together, within a strategic dialogue, decision-makers, industry representatives and experts in the field, with the objective of identifying Romania's strategic priorities in the space sector. The discussions highlighted the importance of a coherent vision and sustainable public policies that support the development of a competitive, innovative space ecosystem connected to European and international dynamics.

Based on the white paper presented at the event, as well as the contributions and recommendations made by the participants, the AGORA Center for Democracy and the Romanian Space Initiative will develop a series of public policy proposals aimed at supporting the development of the Romanian space sector.

ICI Bucharest thus supports initiatives that encourage inter-institutional dialogue, collaboration between the public and private sectors, as well as the shaping of a strategic framework necessary to capitalise on Romania's potential in the space field.
