International Journal of Cyber Diplomacy – IJCD brings together a group of experts in cyber diplomacy, diplomats and representatives of competent institutions and it aims at raising the awareness and the level of knowledge in this area, helping to develop cyber diplomacy based on worldwide collaboration and innovations.
Cyber diplomacy does not fall only within the competence of diplomats, but also of specialists in different fields, whose activity and security are more and more dependent on cross-border cooperation focused on decision making, setting standards, dissemination of information and institutional capacity building.
Cyber diplomacy does not act only as means of communication, coordination and integration of the systems, but also as a binding agent for disparate systems from various domains and areas and, equally important, from various jurisdictions.
The purpose of the journal is to offer sustainable solutions for theoretical, related to policies and practical problems, that will lead to a convergence of concepts, rules and mechanisms which became part of the norms, rules and regulations of 21st century, regarding the cyber domain.
International Journal of Cyber Diplomacy is an open access journal published annually, where only articles on key topics related to cyber diplomacy are published. Given the fact that one of the main objectives of this journal is raising the impact of knowledge and maximizing the visibility of the scientific research results, the journal does not any charge any publication fee from the authors.
The users are able to read, download, copy, share, print and search articles or to create links to the full text of the articles of this journal, without any prior permission from ICI Bucharest or from the author, according to the regulations in force in this area.
The journal reserves the right to publish only the greatest submitted papers. All the submitted papers will be evaluated by reviewers and by a member of the Editorial Board.
