Dr. Eng. Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, met with H.E. Faruk Malami Yabo, former Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and representatives of Lunox International Holding S.E., including Mr. Dragoș Gruia, CEO of the company.
The discussions focused mainly on digital transformation and dual-use technologies, as well as opportunities for cooperation on projects that could bring together the experience and expertise of the parties involved. Another topic addressed was the development of cooperation between partners in Romania and Nigeria, particularly in areas where technology can respond to needs in the public sector, the business environment, and fields of strategic interest.
ICI Bucharest presented its experience in applied research and in developing projects in the field of digital technologies, while the discussions also explored possible directions for future joint initiatives.
Students from Cyprus College Limassol covered programming in Unity, the Internet of Things, robotics, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence during a three-day visit to ICI Bucharest. The students are in Bucharest from 14 to 28 September 2026 as part of an Erasmus project.

Dr. Eng. Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, attended the meeting of the “Romania in the EU” Strategic Reflection Group (RUE), on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, at Cotroceni Palace. The meeting focused on the theme “Romania in the era of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. A national, European and global perspective”, and the first part of the discussions was also attended by the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan.
