ICI Bucharest participated on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the ZF IT Generation Summit 2025, an event organised by Ziarul Financiar, dedicated to analysing financing and trends in the Romanian tech start-up ecosystem. The summit took place in an economic and technological context marked by uncertainties, but also by major opportunities arising from the accelerated transformation of the market driven by artificial intelligence. The topics discussed at the ZF IT Generation Summit 2025 covered the essential challenges and directions for the development of the tech ecosystem in Romania: the real differentiation between artificial intelligence-based solutions and superficial uses of technology, the new evaluation criteria for start-ups based on data quality and technological complexity, the imbalance between follow-on financing and pre-seed investments, the role of angel investors and crowdfunding in supporting innovation from scratch, the potential of restructuring in large IT companies to generate new founders, overcoming corporate reluctance towards local solutions and, last but not least, building products robust enough to gain the trust of enterprise customers. ICI Bucharest contributed expertise across various fields, emphasising the importance of strengthening a robust, collaborative, and sustainable development-oriented innovation ecosystem.
