ICI Bucharest participated in the CIO Council Cybersecurity Forum event organised by CIO Council Romania on May 29, 2025. In a context marked by an unprecedented revolution in the field of cybersecurity, fueled by accelerated advances in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and quantum computing, ICI Bucharest joined industry leaders to debate the strategic directions and emerging challenges of this essential field.
Discussions focused on the integration of AI in threat detection and response, preparing for post-quantum cryptography, adopting Zero Trust architectures, complying with the new NIS2 and DORA regulations, combating the deepfake phenomenon and AI-based disinformation campaigns, developing human skills for a resilient cyber environment.
The event brought together CIOs, CISOs, security experts, and decision-makers from the public and private sectors, highlighting the need for a proactive, integrated and automated approach to cybersecurity in an interconnected digital world deeply affected by technological and geopolitical transformations.
