The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated, between 9 and 11 December 2025, in the international conference “Anchoring Cyber Resilience: Cybersecurity Strategies for a Unified Digital Europe”, organized within the ECYBRIDGE project, of which ICI Bucharest is a partner. The event, hosted by the Maritime University of Constanța, brought together decision-makers, experts, industry representatives, and academics to strengthen European cooperation for unified cyber resilience.
On December 10, 2025, the ICI Bucharest representative gave the presentation "Harmonising Cybersecurity: Bridging Civilian and Defence Paradigms – ECYBRIDGE Workshop Key Findings", which highlighted the main conclusions of the ECYBRIDGE workshop held on September 11, 2025. The activity targeted one of the project's major directions: harmonising civil and military paradigms to strengthen cyber resilience at the European level.
The workshop's conclusions underline the importance of harmonising civil and military approaches in a constantly changing digital landscape. Only through strategic cooperation and interoperability can European cyber resilience be strengthened and emerging threats can be effectively responded to.
The first day of Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest (DISB) 2026 brought together today, at the Palace of Parliament, representatives of government institutions, regulatory authorities, academia, and international organizations, within the framework of the 9th edition of the Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum (CIP Forum).
