ICI Bucharest was represented on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, by one of its specialists at the seventh edition of the Digital Romania Forum, organised by Financial Intelligence, with the support of The Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) and The National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM).
The ICI Bucharest representative discussed the challenges and solutions in the field of cybersecurity, highlighting the importance of a secure and resilient digital infrastructure in the context of increasing cyber threats. In his intervention, the educational dimension of digital transformation was emphasised, focusing on the projects carried out to increase the degree of digital literacy among seniors. Through dedicated events on cybersecurity for older adults, the institute contributes to combating digital exclusion and fostering a culture of online safety among vulnerable populations.
The event brought together government decision-makers, representatives of public institutions, technology companies and academia in an applied dialogue about Romania's digital future - from 5G technology and artificial intelligence to e-government and cyber resilience.
