On April 26, 2017, IF Idea Factory - Think Tank launched the second edition of the international Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum - CIP Forum. Representatives of main entities focused on the regional and global governance of the Internet (ENISA, the World Bank, the US Embassy, the Council of Europe as well as members of similar bodies from the surrounding regions) were invited to take part in this conference.

On Tuesday February 2017, the ANSSI-KAIST meeting took place on the premises of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest. Members of the National Association for Information Systems Security (ANSSI), the Korean Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (KAIST) and ICI Bucharest contributed to the talks.
Between 23rd and 24th February 2017, ICI Bucharest in partnership with Microsoft Romania organized an event at its premises, consisting in free special training modules (SQL) for the researchers of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics.
